How to Connect to the SOC Dashboard
This guide outlines the steps to connect to the SOC Dashboard using WireGuard, a secure and efficient VPN solution.
1. Install the WireGuard VPN Client
For Mac Users:
- Download WireGuard from the Official WireGuard website.
- Note: Ensure VPN connections are allowed under System Preferences > Security & Privacy.
For Windows Users:
- Download WireGuard from the Official WireGuard website.
For Linux Users:
- Follow the installation guide specific to your distribution on the WireGuard Linux page.
Note: We don’t suggest connecting with mobile phones.
2. Obtain Your Configuration File
- We will email your VPN configuration file to your registered email address. (e.g.,
JDoe.conf
). - Save the file securely on your device.
3. Import and Configure WireGuard
For Desktop Users:
- Open the WireGuard application.
- Click “Import Tunnel” or “Add Tunnel”.
- Select the configuration file you received (e.g.,
JDoe.conf
). - Verify the imported settings and click “Save”.
4. Connect to the SOC Dashboard
- Open the WireGuard application.
- Toggle the switch to “On” for your imported tunnel.
- Ensure the connection status indicates “Connected.”
5. Access the SOC Environment
- Open your browser and navigate to the https://soc.infoseclabs.io
Please note that the SOC Dashboard is not accessible without VPN connections. - If the page does not load or appears blank, try the following:
- Update your browser to the latest version.
- Switch to a different browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox).
6. Troubleshooting and Support
- Connection Issues: Verify the configuration file and ensure your internet connection is stable.
- Check in and out bytes on your VPN: Confirm your active connection.
